UAE-Thailand travel: Air Arabia launches daily Sharjah-Krabi flights

SHARJAHAir Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s largest low-cost carrier, has officially commenced daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Krabi, enhancing direct travel options to Thailand.

The inaugural flight departed Sharjah International Airport on 28 November 2025, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s growing Southeast Asia network. Upon landing, passengers were greeted by Phipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Minister of Transport, alongside officials from Air Arabia and Krabi Airport.

Krabi is renowned for its pristine beaches, coral reefs, hot springs, sea caves and picturesque sunset views.

The new service reinforces Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding travel and trade links between the UAE and Thailand. With Krabi now added to its existing destinations of Bangkok and Phuket, the airline offers greater access to Thailand’s most popular regions.

Air Arabia operates Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, providing passengers with features such as SkyTime, the complimentary in-flight streaming platform, and SkyCafe, the onboard menu. Travellers may also earn points through Air Rewards, the region’s leading loyalty programme.
